Publisher: Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment
Developer: NetherRealm Studios
Genre: Action, Fighting
Released for: Xbox 360 PS3 Wii U

Storyline: What if our greatest heroes became our greatest threat? Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment today announced Injustice: Gods Among Us, an all-new game in development by award-winning NetherRealm Studios, creators of the definitive fighting game franchise Mortal Kombat. Injustice: Gods Among Us debuts as a bold new fighting game franchise that introduces a deep, original story featuring a large cast of favorite DC Comics icons such as Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Solomon Grundy and many others. Set in a world where the lines between good and evil are blurred, players will experience heroes and villains engaging in epic battles on a massive scale.

Plot: Superman and a select few other members of the Justice League have taken it upon themselves to rule over the planet Earth, as they have deemed humans unfit to govern themselves. Superman rules with an iron fist, using his massive army to keep the planet inline and to prevent crime no matter what the cost. Only Batman and his group of rebels dare to stand against this new regime in the hopes of freeing Earth from under the rule of the Man of Steel.

The main story of Injustice is told through twelve individual character chapters following the characters you play as. The game begins with the Joker at the mercy of an enraged Superman as the psychotic clown basks in the his success of not only tricking Superman in to killing Lois Lane and their unborn child, but the complete annihilation of Metropolis by the hand of the Joker. Batman desperately attempts to calm Superman down, but ultimately his efforts prove fruitless as Superman punches the Joker through the chest.

After that initial introduction the game cuts to the regular universe where the Joker hasn't detonated the bomb yet where a large scale battle is occuring between most of the heroes and villains in the game. The scene then cuts to Batman as he investigates the Joker's recent escape. After a battle with Deathstroke in Arkham the story moves forward to space and The Watchtower where Batman proceeds to fight Bane and Lex Luthor who are attempting to distract the Justice League while Joker sets up the nuke.Once the heroes realize the Joker's plot, they are quickly warped to Earth from the Watchtower in order to stop Joker. As Batman, Green Lantern, Green Arrow, Aquaman and Wonder Woman all speed towards the Joker to try and stop him, they are warped to the alternate universe, five years after the destruction of Metropolis. As in Mortal Kombat, once Batman's chapter ends control will switch to a new character to continue the story.

They include from most common comic superheroes like Superman, Batman, Joker, The Flash etc. There are few most uncommon characters like Ares, Aquaman, Black Adam etc. too. Gameplay: Along with the large variety of characters this fighting action game also gives a good gameplay experience. The environment setups for battles are really pleasant as visual. They are in their part interactive too. The player can use the environment for own benefit or get hit against it by the foe. As the gameplay or controls are relatively pretty easy to learn someone needs not to spend too much time on any aspect of the game. The environments can be judged soon after two or three fights! The controls itself are nothing like before. In one hand the developers did a great job by removing block button and made it much more interactive by how someone need to block now using moves. On the other hand the super combo moves has been pretty much simplified and can be used by any new gamer!

The game with its stunning visuals for its characters gets better with its story mode. You may play different character to complete the story mode for a different ending each time. The tasks and the unlockable scenarios are really nice addition to the story mode. There is the possibility to level up your character too.

Review: The game has stunning graphics for characters and effects. The audio rather the voice acting are almost perfect. The nice combo actions and easier controls made it pretty fun to play and keep someone stick to it. The story of a twisted Superman with all his friends blurring out the difference between heroes and villains is quite interesting. The story mode itself is great too.

There are bits of problems too which can't be missed. With the new interactive environment the characters with long range attacks get huge advantages. If you choose your character unwisely you might end up dead too many times than you like. The actions are a bit slowish in many parts. There are times when two fighting character uses combos and effect follows for each of them and they don't appear properly as those were simultaneous! The Gadget guy like Batman punching and making Superman fly away looks a bit eerie too(although it is kind of a fun I must admit). The traits of each character makes it difficult to choose someone you might like or you might be able to win with.

Overall with some minor issues I think the game stands out with its improvements as a fighting action game and should be liked by many gamers.
