Good Bye 2009!

Wow,

Another year went past me & all of my beloved DotNXTians! It’s the 3rd for our Forum & the very first for the “active” Blog of ours. So let me recall the things we came through to be here, to become as we are now, as much as possible. I will try to make it as much vivid as possible & as much to the point as well.

Me, Hime

At the age of 17+(pretty old compared to most of you) I got the experience of a computer. Never got any computer course(as many Indian teenagers do) & till the end of 2005 I didn’t have any PC! My mother always blames me that I lack any ambition/s! It’s very much true, and be sure that I cherish it. My friends do know(even if they always don’t believe) that my highest ‘ambition’ is to become a “NORMAL” person & ‘ambition’ itself has no place for work in that particular thing! If I may refer to a popular ‘Bengali’ story teller(writer) I always was happy to be the “Second Boy”. So my & our site do reflect what I am. Like it or, not we will be standing out in this peculiarly money hungry world of “WWW” by “not trying to standing out”. So let me try to introduce to some events & persons happened during the past few years, which of course may still be both informative & attractive to you all!

1994

I got my first Electronic gadget for myself! A hand-held Video game device. It did cost around 11$(1$=50RS). It was about hitting a ball by a batter! The funniest thing is till date I don’t know the rules of the baseball.

2000

I passed the 10th standard & got “2″ Video Games & plenty of Games for those(which needed TV to play with).

2002

I passed 12th standard, got chance in both Medical & Engineering. My family preferred & almost forced me to take the Medical stream. Along with that I got a “Sony Playstation 1″. Actually I dismissed the idea of having a PC due to lack of time beside my studies & preferred PS 1 over PC!

2003

Lol, I was always too eccentric. Believe it or not, I never talked with any ‘girl’ outside my family(or, may be childhood school) till this year. The GOOD me proposed a girl to whom I never talked before & got denied!

2005

At the very beginning of this year the first big thing happened in my life(according to of course my WWW activities), I bought my 6600 in the January(6th). The browsing began with a mobile GPRS connection & again believe me or, not I did found out how to browse without normal GPRS connection without even visiting a forum by the month of May,05′. Around August, after visiting plenty of WAP sites I did visit some WEBsites dealing with Mobile things, namely Mobile Warez(I still didn’t know that specific term). Around November I met Hurst, lol, the biggest thing till date for me myself. I did talk with her a lot. Around this time I was already member of few good great sites around the web, e.g. DotSIS (My First ever), Ipmart(My Second ever!! lol), Twilightforum, Imserba, Symbiangalaxy(.com & not .org), Fullmaza, DotSIS(.org & .net). At the ending of this very year the founders of DotSIS decided to give up & the site went down. Till this time I was not active anywhere!

2006

Kind of a dream! I bought my PC, to my & most of my friends it was the best configured PC around. Believe me, we did assemble it all by me & Sash in the month of May. My life in the “WWW” properly began by this time. I became very active at DS, SG & FM. Never believed that I should promote a single website! In around March, DotSIS ownership changed & the good old cracker team got replaced by Augustine(at this time he personally stated that he bought it with 3500$, sometime I really believe that he is himself Nasir, who knows who is who! I always wonder).By the middle of this year I was Moderator of plenty of Mobile warez forums around. The name “drhimadri82″ still may be remembered by some. Learned a lot about PHP, Rapidleech & Moderating, but the best thing I came to familiar with must be the “variety of people & their stream of thinking”. DS became one of the best by the end of the year & somehow I became the Admin! Lol, how much I loved & regret it at the same time. I gained plenty popularity & lost some very good friends. The ever fascinating “mujtaba”, “billadoid” , “bhanuprasad1981″ , “SSGupta”, “Malestorm”, “Fabion70″ and many more became my great colleagues. Augustine became so friendly, the atmosphere around could never be better. There were some mishaps too, but memorizing those would only lessen the grandeur of the pleasant environment.

2007

DS went offline due to alleged complain from the PC application maker company “Nero(Ahead)”. During the revival I did create DotNXT(oh the response received  I will cherish forever). It gave refuge to my beloved friends & united them when they were wandering what did really happen! After the revival we lost DS PC section to avoid any kind of future issues. So DotNXT remained(even most may not know I didn’t actually like the idea of keeping it up wasting money at that time) as the PC section substitute! The fact was taken as an enhancement to our DS family & approved by Augustine. Well, it was a fact that by this time I could use the DS ftp account by myself & take decisions on my own irrespective of Augustine bro, but like a little brother to him I would always take his permission/s in such a big case. This somehow wrote the beginning of the era of my end at DS though. Again few good & great friends left me by being poisoned by some fake friends of them. But I got some more again! “Azlan”, “radical”, “rebenoj”, “raja” and many more once again. The “Real Owner” of DS Nasir did show up here & there this time & must be happy with the income of his “self proclaimed against his morals of cracking website” under the supervision of another person.

2008

DotNXT didn’t grow much, as we all concentrated still all over DS & I remember only raja would work his heart out at DotNXT alone & I needed to encourage him every now & then for his works. Around the month of May DotNXT moved to a VPS server to deal with the increasing load. Oh, the good & the evil came side by side. I myself couldn’t afford the money to run it on a VPS & asked people of DS to help out. Wow, my friends were always so great! The help from them helped DotNXT to change the server for good & it became totally self sufficient! The DS owner came big into picture all of a sudden in the month of August & blamed me that I am using the site for my own achievement & interest. Lol, my interest, yes that was my interest, my interest of sharing as much as I could with all the friends, with all the people, regardless of the sick aura of greediness & self propelling of various websites around. Mansoor Khan came into picture (a person allegedly recruited by Nasir), Augustine, most probably, removed from his post of care-taking DS for so long. Mansoor Khan, either being instructed or, for his own greed started to frame me & my friends as the villains who tried to demolish DS! Lol, I used to laugh, I used to cry day & night in those days. Most doesn’t know, I still had the FTP access days after this “new” admin removed me from my post & “merged” my posts at DS with himself. If I had intentions of destroying anything, I who always knew the poor back up process of DotSIS in those days, would delete everything & anything I would wish for     Poor me, I still didn’t want to stand out   The “Mansoor Khan” & “Nasir” actually proved to me that I shouldn’t believe people who are doing business with people & was never like me to begin with. Anyway, DotNXT happened then on bigger than ever. Ahh, I could now concentrate on my own thing, which could never be poisoned with the ideas of business.

2009

We became 5 star forum at katz! DS faded from my mind. But my idea of a DotSIS world is still being large & growing through DotNXT, Our DotNXT, My DotNXT. I could start earning much from my “WWW” ventures & it became sufficient to support the dedicated server for DotNXT!  I could make the Blog of DotNXT(this one of course), which in its part have started to bring certain amount of a people of different genre & enhancing our family little by little. We moved to phpBB too. I got my RAM, Motherboard, HDD & Graphics Cards upgraded. Incidentally rebenoj bro got badly hurt, he almost left us. We still pray him to be good. More people came & went. Me, Xeno & few more just keep sticking together. A global recession period passed, many of our dear & not dear ones suffered & people started to forget “drhimadri82″,”SSGupta”,”mujtaba”,”bhanuprasad”,”metalman”, “krishna_BP” & may be even “illusion”. So time of patience & time of endurance is what it was the last year of “2009″. We may see some more of it in the coming year as well. Let’s all hope that our all dreams, all worthy wishes come true in the dawn of the very new year.

Let us also give our warm regards to the aged 2009 while it is passing by for every good it has privileged us with & for everything we could do for good of others during this year.

P.S. There are certain names in this article & there are few which should be there but missing. I actually didn't mean to hurt anyone by any means, this thing is my spontaneous memory of few incidence which I could elaborate upto an unlimited length! I kept myself within limits by only mentioning few from the corners of my mind, so please do excuse me for anything which may possibly hurt yourself.

P.S. -2 Sometimes ago a certain fool one(I am keeping your foolish self under veil to save your misery as a fool   ) blamed me of hacking a Moderator's account at DS. I possibly have answered that in this recollection.
